Whole day my owner and I spent in the Internet searching answer to the question (to do radiation therapy or not). Lots of people, lots of cats, many opinions. We consulted with friends, read articles and forums, looked for true stories. We have some doubts. Of course I'd like to stay alive longer, but the effects of radiation therapy can be unpredictable. It could not help. And then there can be terrible complication-tissue necrosis. I would not want to experience it by myself. Especially since I have a tumor almost adjoined to the intestine. The radiologist told in advance that after radiation therapy I will have a problem with the lavatory...

Today I visited my oncologist. They made a roentgen, ultrasound diagnostic, new clinical and biochemical analyzes of a blood. Analyzes and research - everything is fine. I talked to a radiologist. Well, owner spoke with him, and I just listened. According to doctors, I need to undergo 8 sessions of radiation therapy. Each session is performed under general anesthesia and lasts approximately 20 minutes. All 8 sessions will cost about 40 000. The doctor said that without radiation therapy, the duration of my life is about 1 month. And with radiotherapy - from 4 months to 1 year. No one can certainly give any guarantees. Radiation therapy have to be started as soon as possible. And now my loved ones are thinking whether to put me through eight general anesthesia for the sake of dubious prospects..
To be or not to be? That's the question.

I'm already weighing 3600! This is more than before surgery.
In the air you can feel the Spring spirit. The sun warms up all the hotter. I like to lie in the afternoon in the rays of the March sun. How it's good!
But I stubbornly continue to lick my post-operative suture. I already have a bigger collar and they look for me all the time, but I still turn around and lick. Therefore there is irritation on the skin. I jus wanna be cleaned, I used to wash myself several times a day. And now for almost two weeks I am suffering because of that stupid collar.

On this photo you can see how the doctors pump out post-operation liquid - seroma. They hold me, but I lie in patience, it's just for I never jerk. Seroma formation is often a complication after operations. I hope that soon it will pass.
And I'm almost used to the clinic and doctors. But anyway for cats any treatment is a strong stress. We do not like to be touched by strangers and we do not like leaving our home..
